18 November – Tony Waller’s Prohibition Jazz Band

Roger & Lesley: “A great selection of vintage jazz, played by a group of very talented musicians made for a very enjoyable evening.  Superb dep. Trombonist and a local lad too!”
Jan & Veronica: “Another excellent band. Let’s keep the Club going by having great bands such as this one!”
Malcolm & Juliette: “Only two of the seven who were here in February 2019 but still a great evening.  Nice to see Ken Ames on bass and welcome to Mick Davis from Fareham for the first time.”
Robert & Brenda Davenport: “Very much liked.  Please re-book.”
Ron Norman: “Good entertaining evening.  Very good band.  Have them back soon.”
Julia Hubery & Mark Willis: “Especially liked Washington Square, Twelfth Street Rag, Dark Eyes, Tin Roof Blues St James’ Infirmary and the great positive energy of the band.  Great respect for Tony Waller getting up there with a cough and Mick Davis standing in on trombone.”
