REVIEWS<\/strong>:
Roger & Lesley: \u201cSo pleased they came back.  Another great evening.  Especially liked Richard\u2019s trombone which gave a new dimension and the clarinet playing of Lana May in the blues.\u201d
Julia Hubery & Mark Willis: \u201cWhat a fantastic performance, individually & collectively.  Not enough superlatives for it \u2013 vocals, harmonica, guitar, clarinet, trombone and I have NEVER heard a St James Infirmary so incredibly, amazingly wonderful.\u201d
John Carter: \u201cA different band from our usual fare, playing a mix of traditional Folk, Country and Hill Billy music with a bit of Skiffle.  Lively foot-tapping entertainment.\u201d
Malcolm & Tessa: \u201cVery entertaining even with two different performers from last time (Lana \u2013 first time at the Club – & Richard).  Great fun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John, Gill & Gwyn: \u201cVery enjoyable band.\u00a0 Happy-go-lucky musician who really enjoyed playing together.\u00a0 Pity about the jokes!\u00a0 Loved them really.\u201d

Malcolm: \u201cGreat evening from same line-up as in March.\u00a0 Very varied repertoire and tempi.\u00a0 Four solo vocalists.\u00a0 As good as it gets at GJC.\u00a0 A sample joke from Kevin: \u2018There aren\u2019t many jokes about white sugar but brown ones demerara!\u2019\u201d
Nick & Heather and Carole: \u201cOne of the longest established trad bands and tonight NOT lacking in vitality, spirit humour and musical talent.\u00a0 Brilliant!\u201d
Lesley & Roger: \u201cSome different tunes played by a talented crew.\u00a0 Lots of personality and jokes?\u00a0 Good New Orleans jazz \u2013 a very entertaining evening.\u201d
