Malcolm & Gary: \u201cSeven great musicians, superb evening\u2019s entertainment.  We loved Marlene\u2019s \u201cHandy Man\u201d<\/em> and \u201cSummertime\u201d<\/em>.  Well paced and good variety of tempi and repertoire.\u201d

16th<\/sup> July – Annual General Meeting
<\/strong>The 11th<\/sup> Jazz Club AGM was held with 56 Members present.\u00a0 Trish Emm and Belle (the Rugby Club barmaid) were presented with gifts by Lesley Lygoe to mark the Jazz Club’s thanks for their work on every gig night.
The AGM was followed by an informative talk by Chris Newman on Nat Gonella\u2019s later years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

30th<\/sup> – Chris Walker\u2019s Pedigree Chums<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gill, Gwyn & John: \u201cFive hard working musicians playing tunes we all enjoyed and are familiar with made an excellent evening. \u00a0We all wish Chris Walker a speedy recovery.\u201d
Nick & Heather A and Carole M: \u201cA great performance by Tim Eyles and the band, with a rave bugle solo. \u00a0Fantastic evening.\u201d
Maureen & John C: \u201cAlas no Chris Walker due to ill health. \u00a0However with Tim leading an excellent evening\u2019s entertainment of lively music followed, all driven along by Sy on the drums.\u201d
Roger & Lesley: \u201cIt is sad that Chris Walker is unwell and all GJC members wish him a speedy recovery. \u00a0With the excellent Martin Nickless on reeds and Tim Eyles leading in his irrepressible manner, we had a very entertaining evening.\u201d
Malcolm & Gary: \u201cTim leading always goes down well, but we wish Chris Walker a full recovery. A great evening playing lots of standards with great energy. Superb entertainment.\u201d
